What is VF Wallet?

VB Wallet is a digital wallet provided to you by bigbasket using which you can do transactions on bigbasket.com and its apps. The amount in the wallet consists of three components. Amount in bb wallet= Money+ Credits – Debits. Money is the amount added by you through the add money option in the bb wallet.

Credits are received either through refunds made on cancellation of orders or part orders or through refunds provided by bigbasket for any other purpose. Debits could be added through pending payments for orders delivered but not paid or items supplied for an amount higher then paid for or non redemption of any payments made to bigbasket.

Any amount in the VB wallet can only be used to purchase on bigbasket or its apps and not anywhere else. Please note that EMI, Prepaid or Virtual bank cards or a combination of electronic methods of payments such as Credit or Debit cards with Cash on delivery is not supported to top up bb Wallet. • How can I add money into bb Wallet?

  You may add money in bb Wallet in following ways
  1 Credit cards or Debit Cards
  2 Net Banking
  3 Any other acceptable payment methods visible on the bigbasket payment page
  However, Cash on delivery, International Cards are not acceptable modes of payment for the top-up of VF Wallet.

• How much money can I add in my VF Wallet?

  You can only add value up to Rs. 10,000 per month per user. Beyond that you may still receive your refunds to bb Wallet, but you will not be able to top-up it further. Also at any point in time you cannot have a balance of more than Rs 10,000 in your wallet. This is excluding any credits that you have received in this period.

• How do I check balance in my VF Wallet?

  You need to sign-in your Account in bigbasket.com Website and go to your profile. There, in the bb Wallet tab, you shall be able to see the bb Wallet Balance amount.

• What are the benefits of using VF Wallet?

  Faster Check-out by using bb Wallet, no OTP or passwords are required
  Faster refunds- these are credited within 24 hours to your bb Wallet
  Detailed account tracking: You can track your spends and wallet activity in the My Wallet link available in the bigbasket.com website or app

• How do I use bb Wallet to buy items on Website?

  You shall be able to use bb Wallet as a Payment method available at the checkout. There may be a few products, including Gift Cards, for which bb Wallet is not allowed to pay for.

• Can I redeem bb Wallet to Cash?

  You may not redeem bb Wallet for Cash. bb Wallet balance can also not be transferred to Bank, Other Wallets or other User accounts.

• Do I need to have an account on bigbasket.com Website to use bb Wallet?

  Yes, bb Wallet requires a bigbasket.com Account.

• Can I transfer my bb Wallets to another bigbasket.com Account?

  bb Wallet cannot be transferred to any other bigbasket user’s account. It can also not be used to pay for purchases being made by another bigbasket account user.

• Can my bb Wallet account be suspended/closed?

  bb Wallet account may be suspended or closed if your bigbasket Account is suspended or closed for any reason.

• What happens to my bb Wallet if I uninstall the bigbasket.com App?

  Your bb Wallet account is still active. You may re-install the bigbasket App or login on the bigbasket.com website to access your account.

• What happens to my bb Wallet if I am not able to access my bigbasketAccount?

  Your bb Wallet account is still active and you may reset you bigbasket account password or take help of customer care team to gain access to your bigbasket Account

• What happens to my bb Wallet if I don’t use the bigbasket for over 1 year?

  Your bb Wallet account stays active & there is no expiry date for your wallet balance.

• What happens if someone uses bb Wallet from my bigbasket account without mypermission?

  You need to protect your bigbasket Account. If someone gets unauthorized access to your bigbasket account, they may use your bb Wallet to purchase products at bigbasket on your behalf without your knowledge.

• What happens if I return the Items that I have bought with bb Wallet?

  The refund value for these returned items shall be added to your bb Wallet.

• Can I pay for an Item partially from bb Wallet and Partially from other payment options?

  Yes, you may use other payment methods available to pay along with bb Wallet. However, the money shall be deducted from bb Wallet first and the remaining amount can be paid through other available online payment methods.

• Can I decide the amount that I can pay from the bb Wallet and the rest from other payment options?

  If you have balance in your bb Wallet, then that will be used first. The remaining amount, if any, might be paid through other available online payment methods.

• Can I decide to not pay through bb Wallet, even though I might have amount available?

  If user has bb Wallet balance, then it is up to the user to use it, however if bb Wallet is being used then the order value will first be taken from bb Wallet and the remaining order value, if any, shall be paid by other available online payment method.

• Is there any maintenance charge for keeping bb Wallet balance?

  There are no maintenance charges for keeping bb Wallet balance.

• What is the validity of bb Wallet? Does the balance expire?

  Your bb Wallet account stays active & there is no expiry date for your wallet balance.

• Is there any minimum amount to be maintained in bb Wallet Account?

  There is no minimum amount to keep in bb Wallet.
